Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, Haiti Health Professional's Network HHPN is an organization a large group of nurses and doctors created to serve individuals and families from low-income communities in the U.S. and Haiti. As healthcare costs keep rising, everyone is feeling the effects, especially low-income families in inner cities and rural areas across America and the world.
We believe health professionals and business organizations can play a major in addressing this issue by investing in health education and preventive medicine. This approach has benn effective in its contribution to enhance access to health care in underserved communities. For HHPN, it is true that "prevention is better and cheaper than cure."Moreover, State and local economies benefit when residents have access to affordable health care and coverage every time they need it. For HHPN to reach its goals and objectives, we emphasized throwing health fair and taking medical mission trips to rural communities.
